this is me throwing a 10.5” vase for the commission
this is also one of the dryer videos i’ve ever made, it’s around 26 minutes long, and if you watch it all, you win a prize*.
also, there is nsfw language, such as fuck, using the lords name in vain, and one use of the word ‘handjob’. somehow through all that, it is still one of the dryer videos i’ve made.
*there isn’t a prize.

i’m not too keen on the lighting, and i kind of did them in a rush. i’m planning on taking new photos at some point, but i just needed to have some for tomorrow.

i threw some brand new cup forms
out with the old in with the new i suppose.
i’m going to post some photos tomorrow. i like the new form more i think, it’s actually kind of opposite what i’d been doing.
handles will either make or break them, so we shall see.
anyway, that was my last minute thought before i went to bed and plus i haven’t been posting regularly here, and i need to.

i'm on hiatus for two more weeks
2 reasons:
my mornings and afternoons are filled with the dreaded 8:30 to 2:30 time slot of sculpture.
i’m looking up new recipes to make my work look better.
i haven’t posted here in a while i know, but i haven’t forgotten about this.

update: story platters
it’s part of my face series.
the platters provide space that i feel would be misused by just a one liner. so on these platters, the guy and the girl will tell a story to the viewer. i’ve written a few dialogues so far, and i’m still working on them because i want them to be damn near perfect, but the idea is that the faces act as a couple who banters back and forth, fighting...
